The yoga studio started in Sept 2016, out of a passion of mine for yoga. My yoga journey started in 2009 with Lucy Makin at Stable Yoga. Then in early 2015 few life changing moments happened and I decided to create a calm, quiet, safe space for friends and friends of friends to come and practice yoga and enjoy time out. For me yoga is my me time for my mind and body. It allows me to stretch, strengthen, restore and move my body, which in turn helps my active mind calm.
We have five classes a week, a mixture of Vinyasa Flow, Vinyasa choreography and Forrest. All classes available to all abilities. That is the beauty of yoga, no competition, do it at your own pace and grow at it as your body learns from it.
We host 24 hour retreats, Yoga Days, mini yoga mornings, all to enhance your practice and give you some more precious down time. We would also be able to facilitate a private retreat or day if a group were interested.
The studio has also held Wellbeing talks, last year we had a “Menopause” workshop and we now regularly have our specialist “Gong Bath” evenings. No water involved just a lot of deep relaxation.
As the founder of the Studio I really hope that we continue to grow in our organic way so that you can enjoy it as much as I do.
